New Delhi, July 31 (IANS) The ‘Unforgettable’ world tour of the Bachchans, the ‘first family’ of Bollywood including Amitabh, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, will skip Vancouver and finish the first phase in Oberhausen, Germany. Wizcraft International Entertainment, the organiser of the tour, parted ways with the Canadian promoters, Ethnic Guru, saying that the latter had failed to meet contractual commitments, a statement released here said. Even as Bollywood celebrities like Abhijeet, Mika and Shreya Ghoshal descended here to pay their last respects to the 19-year-old singer, who many predicted had the makings of a star crooner, commoners also turned up in force, virtually bringing this industrial city to a standstill. Ludhiana, July 31 (IANS) Hundreds of Ludhiana residents had turned out with drums, crackers and sweets to celebrate Ishmeet Singh’s ascent to stardom last November. The same people came out of their houses Thursday - this time to bid adieu to the young singer. Shops in the area remained closed for the second day Thursday as a mark of respect to the “Voice of India”, which fell silent Tuesday evening.
