Chandigarh to host festival of Dev Anand’s films

Titled Evergreen Dev Anand Film Festival, it is being organised by the department of tourism, Chandigarh and Delhi-based Millionaires Trust. Four of Dev Anand’s hits — “Guide”, “Hare Rama Hare Krishna”, “Jewel Thief” and “Des Pardes” — will be showcased. (more…)

The tour, with a cast of other top-tier stars dancing and singing live onstage in a “best of” blow-out musical production, is boasting sold-out venues with seating for about 10,000 people each, the Chicago Tribune reported citing Monty Saiyed, one of the promoters with Chicago Live Bollywood Shows. Mumbai, Aug 13 (IANS) Actor-producer Suniel Shetty, who has just turned 47, says he is proud that he doesn’t look his age, thanks to his strict exercise regimen. “I’m not the least ashamed of being almost 50 because I know I don’t look it. I’d like to think my physical fitness and my health consciousness would inspire more people once they know how old I actually I am.
