Abhi’s no Rani deal!
The buzz is that Bachchan Jr. refused a guest appearance in a Yash Raj film recently. Reportedly this has a lot to do with wifey Ash not wanting a Rani-Abhishek pairing on the screen again.
Apparently Aditya Chopra had approached Abhishek Bachchan for a small but vital role in the Rani Mukerji-Shahid Kapur starrer ‘Haddipa’. This is the same movie inspired by a Hollywood flick in which Rani is masquerading as a man and sporting a moustache as well!
It seems Aishwarya wasn’t at all happy with the idea.
According to a source, Aishwarya is jealous of Rani as she was expected to marry Abhishek. Rani had even passed a few nasty remarks about ex friend Ash earlier. So looks like the most beautiful woman in the world is in no mood to forgive and forget.
The source adds, “Abhishek was offered a small but significant role in the Yash Raj banner project the shooting for which has already begun now. He declined the offer due to Rani Mukerji. He now does not work with Rani after his marriage with Aishwarya Rai. He had earlier done a cameo in their Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007) opposite Rani so it was taken for granted that he would say yes.”
Now everybody knows that Ash is happily married and she shows her happiness in public as well. So we really wonder why she’s stuck up about the whole thing then !
