Drona a sequel!
Goldie is all set to make the sequel for Drona. He is happy that the movie has been a hit amidst the children. Guess what made him come to such a decision. SRK and his son loved the movie and that really boosted him.
He says that the movie was made for children and not for the regular movie goers. He plans to make the sequel and dedicate it to Aryan, SRK’s son and his own son Ranvir. He said that in the day of crime thrillers and sex oriented films, this kind of imaginative stories are not available for the children to fantasise.
The critics are bound to complain that the movies made here in India are not original and are always of borrowed themes. His attempt was original and he intends to go ahead in moving forward. If kids loved it that would be more than enough for him. He described how his 3 year old son Ranvir, was glued to the screen when he saw the movie on the screen, which was also his first one.
Abhishek was encouraging when he mentioned about the sequel. The climax in fact was made in such a way with a scope to get a sequel going. Abhishek is very much with Goldie as far as the sequel is concerned. “In fact the producer’s son Veer has been shown in the movie as Drona’s son who is also born with the same supernatural powers as his father. This is good enough for building the sequel,” says Abhishek.
The sequel will be yet another adventure filled Drona 2!
