Asha Bhosle’s daughter in ICU

Mumbai, Sep 9 (IANS) Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s daughter Varsha was early Tuesday admitted to hospital here after she took an overdose of medicine. Varsha, 51, was rushed to the Jaslok Hospital at 4.30 a.m. by a family member.

“It is not a suicide attempt. She took an overdose of some medicine. She is now in the ICU,” a senior police officer told IANS.

Varsha, a journalist, is a divorcee. J.D. Sonawala, the doctor who is attending to her, refused to comment on the matter.
