Shah Rukh Khan bagged the best actor award in popular choice category for his work in Rohit Shetty’s “Chennai Express” at the 20th Life Ok Screen Awards. Deepika Padukone, his leading lady in the film, won the best actress trophy for the same movie.
Farhan Akhtar won the best actor (male) award for “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” and Deepika was awarded best actor (female) for “Ram Leela” as well as “Chennai Express“.
Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies Entertainments won the best marketing in a film award for “Chennai Express” and the best VFX in a film award for “Krrish 3“.

Shah Rukh said in a statement. The actor added that he was very proud of the VFX his company did for Hrithik Roshan‘s “Krrish 3”.

I am very proud of the marketing that Red Chillies has done for ‘Chennai Express‘, with Karuna (Badwal), Karim (Morani), Venky (Mysore) and the whole team. It takes a lot of hard work.
The best film award went to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” while Shoojit Sircar won the best director award for “Madras Cafe“.
