Jodhaa Akbar – Movie Review
Sunday, February 17th, 2008
Glorious, extravagant and simply awesome is what you feel when you see the movie ‘Jodhaa Akbar’! It was the most fervently awaited films in 2007-08. An Ashutosh Gowariker movie that had much to say in the trailers has definitely something to show. Ashutosh Gowariker has managed pretty well to give us an imperial treat this time. He has given two more surprise packs like ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Swadesh’. He also proved his understanding of the very sensitive historical issues. He seems to not mind the rave reviews and attacks that he received on his movie, rather, he has made his point clear. History can have different faces to show, it all depends on you to like or dislike it. (more…)

Hrithik is all set to make his come back with Jodha Akhbar, which was having an expected release during Id/Diwali period, but was delayed because of complexity in shooting the war scenes, which are of sixteenth century era. The film is a mix of facts and fictions related to Jodha and Akhbar love and marriage. Even January 25, the next release date seemed unattainable target. The expected Rs. 50 crore movie is now having the cost of Rs. 60 Crore. News is that Hrithik Roshan is suffering from his knee problems, but the actor is reluctant so far of getting this treated, in spite of the instruction from his doctors and physiotherapists.
