While Sanjay Gupta’s Acid Factory first look launch was a rocking event for everyone, one actor from the film sulked at the party and that was Gulshan Grover.

Acid Factory is a multi starrer starring Manoj Bajpai, Irrfan Khan, Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea and Dia Mirza apart from Gulshan Grover. Almost every single actor and crew member connected to the film was present there. When the event proceedings began, the emcees of the event actor Rohit Roy and singer Manasi Scott heaped loads of praises on all of them excluding Gulshan Grover who has a very significant role in the film as he plays the role of the uncle of the main leads. The Bollywood bad man known for being a thorough gentleman off screen was visibly upset over this. So when it was his time to speak he vented out his frustration in a sarcastic manner in front of the media and expressed his displeasure to Sanjay Gupta. Gulshan has worked in many Gupta films right from Aatish to Kaante and certainly the pain could be understood.

We wonder why Sanjay Gupta continues to rub his long associated people the wrong way. First Sanjay Dutt then business associate Dharam Oberoi, then again last weekend there was news about Gupta and Irrfan Khan having payment related issues and now this live example!

Madhavan wore .gold lame sherwani, artistically embroidered, once again accented with swarovski crystals and bead work.

Sussanne wore wearing an emerald necklace with columbian pear shape emeralds and diamonds. For Hrithik Farah has designed a pendant suspended in a black chord in the form of a Falcon that is soaring into the air. “I envision seeing him like that so thats why I designed this specially keeping him in mind”. Farah Khans new collection is inspired by nature and has alot of 3 dimensional forms and shapes including lots of coloured precious gemstones such as emeralds, rubies, rubelites, tanzanites, sapphires, spinels and yellow and blue diamonds. “With this collection I have tried to create one of a kind pieces that will shine as much as the stars at IIFA. The collection comprises of Necklaces, Earrings, Bracelets, Cuffs, Rings, Brooches and Pendants that have multi purpose wear”, says Farah.

As Farah adds ” My designs are flamboyant, ornate and adventurous. I believe jewellery should make you feel like a princess when you wear ir, no matter how big or small the piece of jewellery is, it should be eye catching and make the wearer feel special”.

Kolkata, 5th April, 2009: The first edition of Kolkata’s very own fashion week – Kolkata Fashion Week (KFW) comes to an end with John Abraham breathing fire in the ramp in a unique Rohit Bal creation.

The final day also witnessed Bollywood Divas Mughdha Godse, Chitrangada Singh and Zeenat Aman sashaying the ramp in spectacular creations of Gauri Nainika, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna and the Weavers. Designers Dev R Nil also showcased their creations.

The for day fashion fiesta witnessed participation from over 10,000 fashion enthusiasts of the city. Rituparno Ghosh, Raima Sen, Riya Sen, Minisha Lamba, Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea, Mahie Gill, Anusha Dandekar, Ranvijay Singh Singha, Sagarika Ghatge, June Malya, Shreya Pande, Monami Ghosh, Sonal Chauhan and Bipasha Basu, were the showstoppers at KFW.

Sharbari being bred in an environment of creative synergies poured out her elements in her work and the Bangali Pungob needs to thank her if they have come out of the drudgery of the bleak world of stripes and checks. Sharbari rose above all cultural conditioning and handheld men into a world of colours which they would otherwise abhor. And today when a bridegroom wears a green embroidered dhoti, it is surely a testimonial to the fact that Sharbari has dispelled the myth of masculine wardrobe. Be it metrosexuals or ubersexuals, Sharbari has always celebrated manhood using folk-art like Madhubani paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphs, African tribal motifs, Greco-Roman relief, Persian and Arabian scripts.

Sharbai’s creations could be narratives by itself. Each art d’ object is a journey to the roots—folklores, epics, mythology have always fascinated the world of imagery for her. At the launch of Gold’s Gym at Pali Hill, Bandra we caught Dino and Bipasha and made them pose together for our cameras. It must be recalled that Bipasha was playing the love interest of Dino once upon a time.

Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea dated for more than two years before breaking up in mid-2002. They met when they were modeling and were one of the most talked about couples of Bollywood. Incidentally, Dino was on Bipasha’s side when she first made her debut with Ajnabee. After that, they paired up for one of the biggest hits of 2002 – Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz. They mutually agreed to break up, but have remained friends ever since. Their still so close friendship had raised eyebrows in the Industry. As time passed by Dino went on to date designer Nandita Mahtani and Bipasha started dating John Abraham who made his debut in Jism with her. Currently Bipasha has still been sticking to John, although there were rumors about their breakup due to the famous Christiano Ronaldo-Bipasha kiss. The couples still stand tall together. On the other hand Dino has moved on from Nandita to Lara Dutta.

If rumours are to be believed then Dino is keen to work with Bipasha and has also asked a couple of corporate houses to work on a subject around them.

Dorian Andrew Mientjez Yates was born April 19, 1962 in England. Dorian was raised in Hurley, in rural Staffordshire. When he was a teenager, his family moved to Birmingham, Britain’s second largest city. During these times, Dorian got himself into trouble, and was sentenced to six months at Whatton Youth Detention Centre.
It was here that Dorian earned an instant reputation as the strongest and fittest of Whatton’s 300 inmates. This gave him new respect for himself. Whatton was the wake up call for Dorian. If he did not do something, he would end up in and out of prison all of his life. Dorian resolved that he would not be back.
Born in Hurley, Staffordshire, near Birmingham, England, Yates started working out in 1983. The man dubbed “The Shadow” (by FLEX Editor-in-Chief Peter McGough) shone a new light of awareness onto training methods with his brief but very high-intensity workouts. After some muscle victories in England – 1985 Novice Championships and 1988 British Championships – Yates visited New York for the 1990 Night of Champions and, in his pro debut, he took second to Mohamed Benaziza. The next year, he returned to win the contest.

In 1991, Yates was the runner-up at the Olympia to Lee Haney, who duly won his eighth record-setting Sandow and the retired. From 1992 through 1997, Yates dominated the sport’s highest title. In 1994, he overcame a torn biceps to win the crown. In 1997, his most valiant victory came when he tore a triceps three weeks prior to the contest, but still battled on to triumph. Due to the injury, Yates was forced to retire, with a pro record of 15 wins and two second-place finishes.

Yates may well be the bodybuilder that most aspiring trainees can best identify with because of his blue-collar roots, dogged determination and quiet confidence.
