What makes this deal so historic is not the money involved, but the attempt to cross the disapora with a Hindi-language film My Name Is Khan. Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar’s thick friendship has been the envy of the film industry for more than a decade now. At the recent press conference to announce the sale of the distribution rights of their My Name Is Khan to the prestigious Fox Star Studios, the King Khan openly admitted in his speech that he was really thankful to Karan Johar for making him the huge star he was.
