Longtime print media journalist, Bala Krishna Kakathkar is readying himself for his new show, Kaka’s Prime Story on radio. The show will have him sharing light anecdotes. He has wanted to do something for a while and felt that talking about sweet things that have happened in his life would be a good option. He had earlier produced Crime Story, a show that aired on Udaya TV. He has also voiced some characters in Kannada films and has also acted in a few shows.

Bengali actor Raghu Mukherjee delivered a hit with his Kannada film, Savari, making him one of the most popular actors in the industry and he has been getting offers from all sides. He wants to, however, take his time in choosing his roles properly and doesn’t want to rush into anything. According to sources, he will be doing a movie opposite 12 heroines. He has refused to confirm the news though.

Known for doing a lot of stage shows with Mammootty and Mohanlal, actress Aparna Nair is almost finished with shooting a Tamil film, Edhuvum Nadakkum. The movie was shot in various locales, one of them being a Cochin island. The movie, a love story, is almost done and will release soon.

That actress Kavya Madhavan is returning to Malayalam films with Christian Brothers is old news. According to sources, she has also been signed on for the film, Pramaani by director B Unnikrishnan, opposite Mammootty. The film will have Mammootty playing a corrupt Panchayat leader whose few good qualities are seen by the female lead. The news is yet to be confirmed.

Diana Kurian turned 27. And who may this unfamiliar person be? Diana Kurian is in fact very familiar down south by the name Nayantara. The actress who has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films celebrated her 27th birthday yesterday. She is known for her fabulous acting skills and all the controversy she attracts. Anyway, we wish her a belated happy twenty-seventh!

Actress Ramya’s behaviour has been criticized lately. She was, however, the epitome of grace and calm during the press conference of Sanju Weds Geetha. She stated that she was very happy to work with Nagashekhar and should’ve worked with him earlier. She claims that she was very impressed with the story when the director narrated it to her and that the role gave her a lot of chance to show off her acting skills.
