Mahesh Bhatt

The film, Tum Mile, which is based on a love story with the 2005 Mumbai flood setting, had to have 10 minutes of flood scenes chopped off to impress Mahesh Bhatt. According to Bhatt, the film didn’t turn out the way director Kunal Deshmukh had imagined it.

While Kunal was against cutting the scenes, he felt that the film did flow better after the scenes were chopped off. Bhatt wanted to focus more on the love story than the flood and edited the scenes so that viewers like it more.

Ranbir Kapoor

There have been rumours for quite some time now about Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali working together on a film together. However Ranbir denies signing any film with Imtiaz. He says he is very keen to work with the director but hasn’t got an offer yet, even though Imtiaz has expressed a desire to work with him as well.

Ranbir admits to have met Imtiaz many times and thinks that the director makes a film only when he’s sure of the story and then casts actors that match the story. He also feels that Imtiaz has a simple philosophy as opposed to what people think about him.

Director Sudhir Mishra is being a good friend to Shiney Ahuja. The filmmaker has cast Shiney Ahuja in his film, Hitman, is trying to put his character in such a light so as to not affect Shiney’s ongoing case or image.
