Wonder, what is the reason behind his cool behavior? If sources are to be believed, Sunny Deol is A.C freak. The source reveals, “Sunny paji can’t do without A.C. the habit is so weird that during the shoot of a dance sequence for his forthcoming venture The Man, Sunny Paji was sitting in the middle of 16 tonnes of A.C with 8 tonnes on each side, on an open location.”

Wah Sunny Paji, you have proved that you are real Punjab-da-puttar in every manner. Wot say Sunny?

Sunny Deol went ahead by adding, “It is cheap comedy in very bad taste. A film artist and particularly an artiste, who is holding an image of lead hero-macho man, cannot be portrayed as a funny-comic figure before the people at large and that too, casually and or-regularly such that he becomes a laughing stock.”

Ashok Sarogi said, “All kind of derogatory, defamatory remarks have been made against my client, his father and his brother in the show. It went ahead to utilize cheap comedy and comments with the voice, pattern and style of Sunny Deol and his father. And more over the station is using Sunny’s name which makes people believe that Sunny Deol is actually participating in the show.” They felt this is very misleading and can go ahead to create misconceptions for an actor, who has a public figure.

The lawyer even said that, Radio Station has been given a notice period of 7 days to compensate damage of Rs.200 crore to the actor. And if they don’t get any response from the Radio station then they will go ahead with filling a suit against them in Bombay High Court. They won’t even hesitate to initiate criminal proceedings under sections 449 and 500 of defamation and punishment of defamation respectively.

The whole idea of holding a press-conference from Deol’s side had nothing to do against mimicry or imitating actors but, medium which everyone listens and follows is used for cheap way of earning money which is not in good spirit. And they hold social responsibility and try not to harm any one’s image or character.

Everyone is waiting that how BIG FM will revert back to these charges and asked compensation from Deol’s side.

Sunny Deol files legal case against Big 92.7 FM in Radio Club on 4th Aug 2009.

Big 92 FM is the radio station that use to run a small section called Son Sunny where the voices of Sunny and Dharmendra were imitated. The content lampooned Sunny and Dharmendra, which made the listeners laugh.

Sunny did not like the idea of FM Radio making fun of his family and stated that, “We all are from the same industry, why to do such things. I was getting call from every where about such show on radio and this has upset my whole family.”

When asked of how many crore rupees they are slapping on the radio channel, Sunny evasively replied, “That you need to ask my lawyer.” “Though I am not here to fight and if the radio station is ready to be sorry of what they did, I may forgive them,” he concludes.

All we can say is that son Sunny take a chill pill…

Director Deepak Tijori is ecstatic that his multi starrer finally gets into the post production.

“My magnum opus is finally ready”, says Tijori in light humour while obviously hinting at the slight delay that this multi crore film has seen during last few months, “Just one week’s worth of work was left otherwise the film would have been ready around six months back.”

With the principal shooting for ‘Fox’ coming to an end, what happens next?

“The film of this stature requires an intense and extended post production”, Tijori says, “It should take anywhere near three months. We should in all likelihood bring our film in the last quarter of 2009.”

Well, Sunny fans would certainly be wishing that this indeed happens as they have been starved of a film starring him in a major role for quite a while now. Prior to ‘Apne’ (which also starred Dharmendra and Bobby Deol), his last major money spinner was ‘The Hero’ (2003). Ever since then he has acted in quite a few films in a solo lead but none of them has been able to make an impact.

Whether it is ‘Fool N Final’, ‘Big Brother’, ‘Naksha’, ‘Teesri Aankh – The Hidden Camera’, ‘Jo Bole So Nihaal’, ‘Lakeer’, ‘Khel’ or ‘Jaal – The Trap’, all of which released between ‘Apne’ and ‘The Hero’, each of them has been a disappointment for both Sunny Deol and his fans. Now one waits, watches and hopes that with Deepak Tijori directed ‘The Fox’, Sunny Deol finally makes a worthy comeback at the box office and wins his fans all over again.

Amisha Patel
Last film: Bhool Bhulaiyaa was her last film, which released way back in 2007 (but she was seen on-screen last year in a yellow dress for the item song Lazy Lamhe from Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic). The last film in which her acting was appreciated was Gadar Ek Prem Katha.

In spite of debuting with the super hit Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai in 2000, Amisha has not been able to make it big in Bollywood.

Claim to fame: In July 2004, Amisha sent a legal notice to her father Amit Patel for mismanaging her accounts and assets amounting to Rs 120 million and demanded the money back. She dated director Vikram Bhatt for five years and they broke up in 2008.

Upcoming projects: Patel will be seen in two comic films, Run Bhola Run and Chatur Singh Two Star; both of which are scheduled to release in summer this year. Patel has also signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films; one of them will be directed by Shaad Ali.

Uday Chopra
Last film: Neal N Nikki (2005) was the last film in which Uday was seen playing a lead role. He did work in some other flicks but went unnoticed due to presence of big stars.

Claim to fame: He is the son of Yash Chopra and brother of Aditya Chopra and is trying to earn his own place in the industry as compare to his family but still not able to make big. Though he was launch through Mohabattein (2000) by his father Yash Chopra only but still awaiting for success.

Upcoming projects: His next release is Hook Ya Crook.

Esha Deol
Last film: Hijack, which released last year, ended up more like a suicide mission at the box office.

Claim to fame: She is the daughter of superstar Dharmendra and dream girl Hema Malini. Still in search of fame, Esha has failed to be recognized even after doing a bikini scene in the super hit Dhoom (2004).

Upcoming projects: She is set to star in her mother’s next directorial venture with Rekha and Abhishek Bachchan. There is also a film in which Esha and her mother will be starring together for the first time. She’ll be seen next in Raftaar 24×7 this year.

Madhuri Dixit
Last film: Her last film was Aaja Nachle (2007). Before that, she starred in Devdas in 2002 which was her comeback film after marriage and motherhood. She won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her depiction of Chandramukhi in the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In 1999, she married Sriram Madhav Nene, an Indian doctor who resides in USA.

Claim to fame: She shot to stardom with her item number Ek Do Teen in Tezaab (1988), which is popular till today. She received the Padma Shri in 2008, India’s fourth highest civilian award by Government of India.

Upcoming projects: She has none and as of now just reading scripts

Sridevi

Last film: Her last film was Judaai (1997) with her brother-in-law Anil Kapoor. After that, the actress has kept out of the limelight.

Claim to fame: Sridevi believes in living large and doing things her own way. That is why, at the peak of her career in 1996, she chose to wed the much-married Boney Kapoor.

Upcoming projects: Rumors of her making a comeback in a film produced by husband Boney Kapoor, Mr.India sequel were doing the rounds, though it is still not certain whether they will hold true.

Neeraj Pathak got associated with the Deols during the making of Apne. Neeraj has been writing the scripts for the Deols and had become very close to the family. However after the differences cropped up there our sources wonder if Neeraj’s name will appear on the credit titles of the film.

When contacted director Neeraj laughed and said “Yes I heard about it. These are all baseless rumours. In fact, I have been shooting with Sunny Deol and Shilpa Shetty for The Man at Whistling Woods for the last two days. I will be wrapping up the shoot today. In fact Sunny was also surprised on hearing the news. Sunny even commented that when two people come close in bollywood people try to create differences between them.”

The director further adds, “In fact I am doing another film with the Deol’s now. It will be a beautiful comedy, action. I will be producing and directing the film. We are in the scripting stages right now and plan to start the film as soon as we wrap up The Man.

Sunny’s spokesperson confirmed the news saying, “Sunny Deol is currently working on ‘The Man’. But yes he is also writing a script to a film. The film has been titled I’m a Jat for the moment but it isn’t necessarily the final title.” Sources say that Sunny’s sons may also act in the film along with their father. “Nothing has been officially announced but there are plans to introduce Sunny’s son in the film. The film will have all shades of comedy with a Punjabi back ground and tradition,” adds the actor’s manager.

It is not for the first time Sunny Deol will play the role of a Punjabi or a Sikh. He has done many a movie in which he has played a Sikh’s character. It was heard that Sunny was also impressed with Singh is Kinng and had even smsed Akshay complimenting him for his performance.

MOSERBAER’S RIGHTEOUS KILL PREMIERE –

The premiere of the much awaited Hollywood film Righteous Kill brought to India by Harish Dayani-helmed Moserbaer Entertainment, starring the two titans Robert De Niro and Al Pacino was premiered on Sept 11, 2008 at PVR, Juhu.

The premiere was a star -studded affair with stars from all walks of Bollywood coming down to watch the two titans together in action after a long gap.
