Deepika’s visit to Nation’s capital
Deepika who was in the Country’s capital to catwalk the ramp for designer Shantanu-Nikhil, for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, remarked that she does not really follow the fashion trends. She prefers to wear something comfortable than wear trendy uncomfy clothes.
But she did not miss out not stating that her favourite designer is Manish Malhotra. She impressed by the way Manish designs stuff for her and she also said she owed her first film Om Shanti Om clothes design to him.
Donned in a salmon colored dress designed by Shantanu Nikhil, Deepika attended another event in the capital to announce the winner of the Fiama Di Wills Beautiful Face 2008 Hut, where she declared Prerana Sharma as the winner.
Deepika couldn’t express her delight over her opportunity to attend and honour such events, when she in her modelling days did not get the chance to be on such ramps or win such contests!
