Dr. Rekha Sheth Celebrates the Prestigious MARIA DURAN Lectureship Award by the International Society of Dermatology. In the world of cosmetic dermatology, few enjoy the reputation that Dr Rekha Sheth does. With 35 years of experience to her credit, she is undoubtedly one of the countries very best. Hence it is no surprise that her expertise has been honoured by the International Society of Dermatology by awarding her the prestigious MARIA DURAN Lectureship Award and making her the first Indian woman dermatologist to receive this recognition.

The Committee which recognizes potential present and future female leaders in international dermatology were impressed by Dr. Sheth’s unique lectures on ‘The Enigma of facial melanoses in skin of color’ where she described various patterns of pigmentation seen on Indian faces.

Dermatologist Dr Rekha Sheth hosted an intimate cocktail evening for friends and clients who all came to raise a toast to the award. .Guests included Rani Mukherjee , Genelia D’souza, Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Rahul Bose, Sunita Kapoor , Schuana Chauhan, Salpi and Vishal Gandhi, Neelam Ronit Roy, Prerna Sharman Joshi, etc. Husband Dr. Ashit Sheth and son Aneesh lent their support to Dr Rekha Sheth on her big day.
