Kiran Bawa & her business partner Shilpa Shetty Kundra of IOSIS Spa & Wellness joined hands with Producer Wardha Nadiadwala to spend some quality time with kids from Cancer Aid and Research Foundation (CARF) at IOSIS Spa, Khar. Celebirty guest friends of the trio were invited to try out the various beauty treatments & spa massages, with the special incentive that the cost of their beauty treatments will be handed over to CARF. Celebrities such as Pooja Bedi, Raavee Gupta, Mansi Joshi Roy, Deepshika, Sheeba, Reshma Merchant, Rakshanda Khan and many others were present to show solidarity with the cause and support the kids.
Shilpa Shetty said “It is a privilege to have these special kids from CARF come over and spread joy amongst our staff and clients. We can learn a lot from the joie de vivre and carefree spirit of these kids and imbibe it into our daily lives. Many times we complain about trivial issues, which annoy us and fail to see the larger picture. Life has to be lived with the right perspective and sometimes we need a reality check which can come from the most unexpected of sources.”
Kiran Bawa, Partner IOSIS Spa & Wellness added “CARF is doing a wonderful job taking care of these kids and need to be appreciated for their efforts. This is our small way of saying thank you to such organisations who dedicate themselves to the betterment of society. These kids are an inspiration to each and every one of us to look at the brighter side of life and carry on in life with a smile. We hope their energy and enthusiasm rubs off on us and we live life to our fullest while caring for those who need our attention”
Wardha Nadiadwala concluded “Many times just the smallest gestures go a long way in bringing joy to other people’s lives. If all of us pay attention to people around us and do whatever little we can in our own way to cheer up someone else’s life, we will be living in a much better society. It’s been a heart warming & enriching experience to spend some quality time with these kids and will be cherished for a long time to come”.
