A significant chunk of the Television & Bollywood industry and some names from the film arena were seen at launch of the single “Jai Bheem” Dedicated to Babasaheb Ambedkar. The guest list Shaan, Mahavir Jain, Harshdeep Kamble with his wife, Edda.
“It’s an apt occasion to assess and reassess his thoughts and ideology and his relevance through the single Jai Bheem which is dedicated to him” says the soulful and talented music director Lalit Pandit who launched his new single “Jai Bheem” dedicated to Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Elaborating about the song, Lalit Pandit says “The song espouses Ambedkar’s social and political philosophy. The reason why I chose to compose this song was the lack of songs on Babasaheb in Hindi; there are several in Marathi though. Besides writing the Constitution of India, he was also instrumental in addressing many issues and setting things right. I am sure the energy and melody of the song will be appreciated by music lovers all over”
The single is sung by Amruta Fadnavis, along with Amrutaji, singers like- Vaishali Mahade, Javed Ali, Palak Muchhal and Shaan have lent their voices to the song.
The song has been composed by Shri Lalit Pandit and written by Alok Ranjan Jha; Singers- Amruta Fadnavis, Vaishali Mahade, Javed Ali, Palak Muchhal and Shaan; Brain child of- Shri. Harshdeep Kamble (I.A.S Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration).
