Rajtaru Studios’ youth-centric rom-com ‘Sadda Adda’ due for January 2012 release is not just a take on the rock anthem of Ranbir Singh’s film ‘Rockstar’ but has gone a several steps ahead in all its making aspects. The theatrical promo has been released with Rockstar and it has got fantastic response. In sheer international style Britisher Harvey Glen, the Director of Photography, comes from an advertising field with multi talented experience abroad. Russian Vladimir Persan has given a truly international score and elevated the look, feel and mood with melody of the film. Ace photographer Ashok Salian is now creating a novel poster shot of the film. Rajataru Studios is the first to introduce all these elements in India and now created a wonderful film with gripping script, great starcast and magical music. Ramesh B. Agarwal, Rajiv R. Agarwal and Tarun R. Agarwal promoters of Rajtaru Studios Ltd, a specialist production house with facilities in India, Dubai, England and Africa, are set to foray into film production with ‘Sadda Adda’, a youth centric rom-com. Understanding the current trend prevailing in the film industry, the company has chosen this particular story as his maiden venture, as it revolves around 6 young guys who share a 2 BHK apartment in Delhi. The film is about their dreams, realizing them and having the courage to accomplish them.
Rajiv R. Agarwal says, “It’s a special occasion for us as the company is about to release its first film, ‘Sadda Adda’. We have been in the industry for quite a long period, so we knew how to go about starting the film. We considered analyzing the market, the audience, etc. before finalizing this unique and fun-filled script. And I am sure it will be loved and enjoyed by all.”

This slice of life film is set in the backdrop of our capital city- Delhi. A city that brings in thousands of North Indians in search of opportunities that was never available in their own home towns. Like-wise, six boys from different states come together to share a two BHK apartment in a middle-class colony, which they lovingly call “Sadda Adda”. This film is their story. It is about how six bachelors, with completely different backgrounds and personalities, live together. Their apartment “Sadda Adda” is a complete mess with empty beer bottles, cigarette butts, unwashed clothes, mattresses tossed all over the floor etc – yet together they cook food, clean, buy groceries, pay rent, laugh, cry, fight over insignificant issues and always stand up for each other – like a family. “Sadda Adda” which began as a transitional accommodation to help them work towards their dreams, becomes their home. The film takes us through a journey of their camaraderie and self-belief. The interwoven stories of these 6 characters takes us through a heart warming journey of the lives of these boys. This movie is about real characters from life who have fun, who fight the wave everyday and through very light heart moments inspire us in the most modest way. The crests and troughs that shape them into the men they will become in the future – because Boys will not always be boys, explains film writer Muazzem Beg.
Talking about the film, Tarun R. Agarwal, who is sure that it will receive audience appreciation, says that, “The film is about 6 young guys, who come together from different states to Delhi. They not only share a 2 BHK apartment but also the courage and determination to follow their dreams. the story revolves around the ups and downs of their lives. I think that audience will be able to connect with the characters. You can see glimpses of real life on the screen in the film.”

The film is written and directed by Muazzam Beg and stars Karanvir Sharma, Bhaumik Sampat, Rohin Robert, Rohit Arora, Kunal Pant and Parimal Aloke, Shaurya Chauhan, Kahkkashan Aryan. The editing is done by Sandeep Singh Bajeli, while Shamir Tandon has taken care of the music and guest Music composer is Karan Oberoi of Band of Boys. Harvey Glen is the British DoP and a Russian Vladimir Persan has given the Background Score and Parul Chawla is the Media Consultant.
