Stars from Bollywood and Tellywood get together to celebrate EID on COLORS. ‘Come celebrate Eid with COLORS Jashn-E-EID’. COLORS has always believed in making every occasion special for its audiences and making them an integral part of all its festivities. This time too, with the auspicious occasion of EID arriving, COLORS welcomes this festival with its special offering Jashn-E-EID featuring popular faces of Bollywood and Tellywood under one roof. The channel has always been front runners in getting some of the biggest Bollywood stars on television and this time it brings stars like Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imraan Khan to the small screen to celebrate this festival in fervor.

EID is a special occasion for the whole nation and an event like this which is filled with dance, masti and entertainment will indeed be a treat for its audiences. Bringing together the popular stars of Telly land like Jay Bhanushali, Mahii Vij, dancing diva Sanjeeda Sheikh, popular heartthrobs Gurmeet Choudhary and Karan Wahi, the show will have some spectacular performances. While Jay-Mahi and Aamir- Sanjeeda will be seen setting the stage on fire with their full-on-energy desi and damakedaar performances on Kajra Re and Ghaghra, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s ace dancer Lauren Gottlieb along Roopal Tyagi in a complete desi avatar will be seen performing Mujra for the first time.

For the first time on television, Akshay Kumar along with famous Pakistani duo- Shabri Brothers who are known for their soulful Sufi song will be seen singing qawalli -Chadta Suraj. Sonakshi who was decked up in a white and royal blue sequined descending from a glittery silver colored prop in the shape of a gigantic moon together with Akshay to do a romantic act on Ishq Ki Saazishein. The show was interspersed with some hilarious moments with the hosts Rithvik Dhanjiani and comedian Bharti Singh in funny banter.

Wishing the audiences on this auspicious occasion Sonakshi Sinha said, “Eid is a very special festival and this year it is even more special as I’m celebrating it with the COLORS and Once Upon a Time in Mumabi Dobara team. It was a great experience joining them again and recreating magic of the movie on this special show. I’m sure the audiences are going to enjoy it. Wishing all Eid Mubarak.”

Akshay Kumar too had his share of fun shooting for the show – “Eid is one of my favourite festivals, and I do something special on it every year. I really had blast this time celebrating it with Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara team. And it was even more fun performing with Sonakshi on the stage. She is an amazing co-actor plus a very dear friend and I really hope like all our films earlier which became and hit, our this movie Once Upon a Time In Mumbai 2 also turns in to a huge hit.”
Lauren Gottlieb who seemed much excited about her performance said, “This is the first time I am celebrating EID and it feels great to be part of all the festivities. It was fun performing on the Mujra song and dressing up in a bright colored Anarkali was like a dream come true. Also, I have worked very hard on my expressions and focused to get all the gestures of the dance form right.”
