Anupama Verma sizzles at Priyanka Thakur show
A dazzling night, with an excited host, Sharon Prabhakar was what one experienced at the Atria Mall, Worli, on Saturday, 11th October. Priyanka Thakur surely had her near and dear ones to share her bliss at the inaugural ceremony of her store at the mall. She said, “I thank God, it’s been a big day for me, and everything has gone off well.” An onlooker said, “Priyanka has tremendous amount of talent and energy.”
The evening took off at 10.30pm when Sunita Menon, the chief guest arrived, the stage was set up in a rather different manner; instead of ladies scorching the ramp the escalators did the needful. Quite an amazing idea!
The guest list was brief, with TV star Aparna Tilak, theatre personality Alyquee Padamsee, singer Gary Layor, chief guest Sunita Menon and show stopper Anupama Verma. The show’s theme was ‘Mystic Mania’ and truly to the terms was Priyanka’s creations…. Mystifying!
Sunita Menon said, “The collection is truly beautiful, it’s a fantastic fusion of ethnic and modern designs. It’s young and wearable. It’s for all ages.
Aparna Tilak said, “The way Priyanka has blended Indian fabric and embroidery is out of this world. It’s a gorgeous collection.”
Anupama Verma just said one thing, “The collection is feminine, I can see myself in it. I can see it in my closet.”
The evening was filled with a contented crowd that was really caught into the Mystic Mania!
