A Grand Finale…A Mega Launch…Provogue proudly presents at Trikaya, that is set to be Pune’s finest bar and kitchen, The Graduate Showcase of FAD International, an International Institution in Creative Arts & Design, on Saturday July 11, 2009 late night.
Being attended by the crème de la crème of Bollywood & Pune socialites like Emraan Hashmi, Tapur & Tupur Chatterje, Smiley Suri, Ken Ghosh, Vatsal Seth, Mohit Suri, Nivedita Sabu, Varsha Talera, Choradias, Bhansalis, Bhosales, Payal Kalmadi, Mr. Kunal Deshmukh, Saihal Saigal, Shivang & Maitree Dhruva, Mr. Ashok Dhruva & Mrs Madhuri Dhruva & more, the evening had fashion runways, an art & photography showcase and short documentary premieres The event is being supported by Brindco Wines.
An evening with flavors from the east by Tirkaya together with Pune’s finest bartenders at the do, and a graduate showcase displaying the creative works of 55 young artists and designers from FAD International Institution Pune, Nilesh Limaye, the celebrity chief at Trikaya had especially conjured up some of the finest far eastern dishes for the night.
The annual Art, Fashion & Design showcase of FAD International is an amalgamation of inspirations from design capitals of the world. The Art Exhibition shall have a display of larger than life artworks and installations by young artists on avant-garde and Bollywood as the theme. The fashion runways showcased the following lines.
High Street Fashion: Inspired from the streets of London through the recent student Europe Tour, students showcased wearable street clothing for an international market.
Avant Garde: Flamboyant, unexpected, extreme …pushing the limits to extreme creativity, designers go wild on the creations. Inspired from the catwalks of the Milan and Paris fashion weeks, students translated their creative skills on the runway…showstoppers in the offering.
Red Carpet: Couture at its very best…for the first time young designers showcased extreme technical abilities through made to measure one of red carpet garments…the show stealers…
Art on the Move: The canvas on the move, artists will for the first time create artworks on the move…larger than life showcase on this runway.
Further, India’s leading fashion brand Provogue showcased its women’s collection through the Provogue Catwalk: at the event. The collection is evoked in bold appliqué floral motifs that embellish loose fitting dresses. The colorful embroidery adorns the simple cotton dresses for an overtly feminine look. The collection also sports bohemian and ethnic paisley prints seen on relaxed halter neck and fitted bodice dresses.
The event also marks the start of ‘Provogue Friday Night Bar’ beginning next week. Every Friday will witness DJ’s spinning some sensational and grooving house music to entertain guest as they indulge in the wholesome cuisine of the east.
