Gaurav Jai Gupta brings Akaaro to a greater level— his debut on the ramp last season was well absorbed by many who could understand the theory of warp and weft. He recites a tale this Autumn-Winter, combining the most unimaginable yarns and not thought about shapes. The collection is a textural playground where every element plays its role perfectly. A superior game is at display—the colours reckon unknown horizons combining peaches, greys, camels, browns and hues of black.

Akaaro brings the weaver’s dream come true with detailings emphasised with box-pleating going all the way down to the hemlines. He creates a refined look involving earthy tones splashed on amazing surfaces.

The de-structured look—favourite this season— makes its mark without letting things monotonous. Necklines were experimental, yokes were redefined and pants appeared much more soothing teamed with short and long shirts. The collection boasted a wide palette of fabrics ranging from cottons, wools, silk and steel.
