Preeti Chandra show on Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2011 – Day 2

Preeti Chandra gets the Victorian courts live on stage. Every lady dresses in beautiful vintage, ensemble walking on the ramp like a fairy. Scarlet red being the prominent colour, the collection was strong and vibrant in itself. Revisiting classics, the look was elegant and dreamy.

The imaginary tour reveals voluminous skirts, evergreen cigarette pants, butler jackets, powerful one-shoulder dress, gowns with enchanting sweeping trial, calf-length dress cinched at the waist with stylish kamar-bandh. Vibrant colours like majestic purple, emerald green, royal navy blue black mixed with soft tones like ivory and beige. The gowns are draped in crepe, silk, chamois and organza. One can see perfect craftsmanship with great detailing. Charming usage of lace, feather, flowers and bows snapped the past to present. All this with Victorian head gear and tiaras add that extra charm to the collection.
