Sonakshi walks for Jyotsna Tiwari Show at India Bridal Week Day 2

DAY TWO OPENED WITH JYOTSNA TIWARI WHO CREATED A MYSTICAL ROMANCE AROUND HER BRIDAL COLLECTION AT AAMBY VALLEY INDIA BRIDAL FASHION WEEK 2012. 13th September, 2012, Mumbai : Creating one of the most luxurious collections for the third season of Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012, Jyotsna Tiwari proved her expertise in presenting opulent bridal gowns and glamorous evening wear. Blending seamlessly her traditional ideas with contemporary styling, Jyotsna’s collection called “Mystical Romance” was a breathtaking line of beautiful bridal ensembles.

Six giant lit wired gold shimmering net chandeliers with crystal streamers stayed poised on the ramp to gradually rise as the show started. Ornate white and gold pillars lined the stage all set for a grand evening of fashion and glamour.

Opening the show was the lovely Ankita Shorey, Miss India 2011 and the face of the Aamby Valley Bridal Fashion Week 2012; in a white net and silk layered one- shoulder gown with gold zari work. Soon it was shades of royal blue chiffon/crepe with gold bodice and drapes for gowns followed by a red and black ombre gown in crepe with rhinestone belt. The gold lace asymmetric draped gown and the mauve fuchsia draped sari-gown vision were divine in structure and beauty.

Jyotsna moved into the ethnic section with structured sari drapes in shaded rani pink, followed by the red lace and net paneled choli and embroidered net dupatta. Bringing in a touch of excitement were the velvet bolero cholis, which covered the black net sequined saris or the shimmering saffron georgette version.

Adding touches of classic silhouettes, Jyotsna had flowing shapes with Grecian drapes that will appeal to the young and trendy lady on her dream day. From pre-draped sensuous saris, to moulded sari gowns, to the swirling anarkalis and traditional lehengas; the creations were mesmerizing as they floated down the ramp.

Rich luxurious fabrics ranged from silk, chiffon to velvet, tulle and lace in vibrant colours that moved from black, amber, coral to blues and the traditional auspicious red.

While there was a mélange of embellishments to dazzle the mind; the layering, volumes, fits, flares, drapes and transparency were in creative harmony with the theme.
Tassels appeared seductively on hemlines while slit tunic covers looked sexy with the glittering embellishments.

The final pink and red section had tiered net lehengas with the net choli kurtas, while lace blouses were teamed with metres of net for swirling lehengas. Crystals gleamed on velvet cholis and dupattas to add that definite touch of bridal glamour.

The beautiful Sonakshi Sinha star of several Bollywood hits looked fabulous in a stunning Jyotsna Tiwari shocking pink floral embroidered silk lehenga and choli set with net dupatta, as she glided down the ramp to end the show in elegant splendour.

The gorgeous jewellery by Amar Ghana Singh added to the dazzle of the creations and gave the collection that bridal look that made all the difference to the show.
