Bharat Jhadhav, Pakhi Hedge, Milind Gunaji, Varsha Usgaonkar at the Launch of First ever Bhojpuri - Marathi bilingual film in Baikunth Villa, Juhu Mumbai on 5th June 2008. First ever Bhojpuri - Marathi bilingual film launched with formal mahurat ceremony held on Thursday at Baikunth Villa, Juhu Mumbai. Being made under the banner of M.B. Productions’ by producers Dr. Sunil S. Maheshwari and Mahesh Raj, the bilingual has the same family drama story weaved with the different star cast and titles as the Bhojpuri title is “Mai Jaisan Bhauji Hamar” and the Marathi version has “Ghar Sansar” title.

Director: The film is written and directed by Mohanji Prasad, the legendary producer -director of Bhojpuri cinema who wrote, directed, produced and distributed many milestones in three decades of his career. He felicitated with the most prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award for his distinguished contribution in regional as well as in Hindi cinema. He has given many super hits, silver jubilees and golden jubilees with various stars and directors to the industry.

Challenge: Now this Bhojpuri mogul (Mohanji Prasad) took another challenge of making a rare combination of Bhojpuri & Marathi bilingual for the first time and he is full of confidence that this combination will work, even it can make a miracle also. He is trying to bring the fading charisma of bhojpuri cinema back and on the other hand he is celebrating the new wave of marathi films also.

Story: This bilingual is a social family drama and a story of happy-go-lucky traditional Hindu family depicting the beauty and importance of Indian relationship which has three brothers Ram, Laxman & Bharat with two kids and bhauji Ganga in key role.

Cast: “Mai Jaisan Bhauji Hamar” (Bhojpuri) has Ravi Kishan, Anara Gupta, Varsha Usgoankar, Milind Gunaji, Anil Tripathi, Manoj Dutt, Sheetal Pathak, Brijesh Tripathi among others. Music is scored by Rajesh Gupta, Lyrics are penned by Vinay Bihari, all ten Songs are sung by Udit Narayan, Vinod Rathod, Kalpana, Kailash Kher, Deepa Narayan, Purnima, Indu Sonali and Khushbu Jain.

Cast: “Ghar Sansar” (Marathi) has Bharat Jhadhav, Pakhi Hedge, Milind Gunaji, Varsha Usgoankar, Mohan Joshi, Rajesh Shingarpure, Sheetal Pathak, Bajrang Badshah among others. Lyrics are penned by Pravin Davane and Vishu Ivalekar, Music is composed by Veivek Asthaana, all songs are sung by Suresh Wadkar, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sadhana Sargam, Uttara Kelkar and Abhijeet Sawant.

Crew: Technical crew is common in both versions, Associate director is K.D. Singh. Cinematography is by Hira Saroj, Edited by Ashok Naik, Choreography is by Pappu Khanna, Raju Naidu, Jaishree Tripathi & Dilip Mistry, Costumes are designed by Purnnima Bhatia, Sound is recorded by Salim, Art direction is taken care by Suresh Pandey, Co-producer Dr. Rajesh Upadhyaya, Executive Producer Sameer Mohanty are the other main credits.
