Mahesh Bhatt ghost directing Jashn?
Mahesh Bhatt seems to be ghost directing Vishesh Films’ next, Jashn starring Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan Suman, Anjana Sukhani and Shahana Goswami of Rock On fame. Otherwise what can one explain from his presence on the sets and ordering every single proceedings during the film’s on going shoot in Madh Island’s Erangal Village? The directors of the film are the duo – Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry.
A source informs, “Mahesh Bhatt has been present on the sets from day one since the shoot for the film has begun. The track record of the director duo hasn’t really been impressive what with two back to back flops, The Killer and The Train both starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead. They had both been Mahesh Bhatt’s assistants before going independent. One can see them both turning to Bhatt after every shot taken during the on going shooting of Jashn. Bhatt then is seen giving his reaction to it either in the manner of suggesting changes or giving his thumbs up. He even sometimes tells the duo before any shot is taken how they should approach that particular scene. It is just like ghost directing!”
Bhatt however is quick to clarify, “I have no intentions to turn back into a director again. I am really happy being a producer. What is the harm in going to my own film’s sets and monitoring the proceedings?”
Jashn is a musical and tells the story of a wannabe rockstar played by Adhyayan and his aspiring model sister played by Shahana. Anjana plays Adhyayan’s love interest. -(SAMPURN)
