On his wife Sunita’s birthday on Saturday, veteran actor Anil Kapoor said he finds his peace, thrill and sanity in her.

“In you, I find my peace, my thrill, my bliss and my sanity… Happy Birthday Sunita! And thank you for… Well… You! Sunita Kapoor,” Anil tweeted on Saturday.

Anil married Sunita Bhavnani Kapoor, a costume designer, in 1984. The two share three children Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan.

Sonam quoted Maya Angelou, and posted on Instagram: “Happy Birthday Mom!! Thank you for being our inspiration, our strength and all that is beautiful in our lives… Love you.”

Harshvardhan took to Instagram, where he shared a photograph of himself along with his mother and shared a message for her.

“She held me then and she holds me still… In her heart and arms! Happy birthday to my mother who is stunningly good looking, intelligent, witty and so much more. Much love from the only child you passed those genes and traits onto. Happy Birthday Mom… Sunita Kapoor,” he captioned the image.

Film shoot reminds Supriya Pathak of school days

Veteran actress Supriya Pathak Kapur, who is shooting for Gujarati film “Best of Luck Laalu”, says her character in the movie reminded her of her exam days.

The film is based on a 10th standard student’s mother. When she was approached for the film, the first thing she asked after signing the film was for tutors for herself.

“My character Daksha Modi, reminded me of my exam days. When a kid in the house is preparing or appearing for the SSC exams, all other members in the house change their lifestyle too. For a mother, it seems that she is again appearing for the exams while she involves herself in her kid’s exam preparations,” Supriya said in a statement.

She prepared herself well for the shoot.

A source from the set said: “The script was good enough to go ahead with the shoot directly, but Supriya ji wanted to feel the subject and make it as much realistic as she can. She will be often seen speaking about the academic subjects and exams with her son in the movie, Laalu (Smit Ganatra), and she would like to look natural and relevant. So she took this unique decision.”

The film, backed by Coconut Motion Pictures, is directed by Vipul Mehta and produced by Rashmin Majithia.
