Writer Javed Akhtar visited veteran Bollywood star Dilip Kumar at the Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre here.
Dilip Kumar, who turned 94 on Sunday, was admitted to the hospital last week after he complained of swelling in one of his legs.
Actress Shabana Azmi, wife of Akhtar, tweeted a photograph in which her husband is seen along with Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu.
“Unfortunately, I wasn’t in town, but Javed Akhtar conveyed my deepest regards for the tallest thespian Dilip Kumar,” Shabana captioned the image.
