“Game of Thrones” actress Maisie Williams, who plays role of Arya Stark in the fantasy series, seemingly announced the death of a major character – Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner.
The 19-year-old was at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Texas on Sunday with on screen sister Turner.
Discussing the upcoming final seasons alongside showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, the actress revealed to the crowd that Sansa might not make it to season eight, reports express.co.uk.
Turner, 21, was sporting her natural blonde hair when an audience member asked why she doesn’t have her character’s bold red locks.
According to a Twitter page, A Storm of Spoilers, Williams responded: “She’s dead.”
The social media profile said a moment went by until producer Benioff said: “Don’t worry, they won’t tell anyone.”
The seventh season of the popular fantasy drama series “Game of Thrones” will premiere on July 16. It will be back in India on Star World, Star World HD and Star World Premiere HD.
