Rocking pair of Ranbir-Farhan for Gulel?

Reportedly Ranbir has ended up being roped for Aparna Sen’s Hindi directorial debut venture, Gulel. Now it is learnt that Farhan Akhtar too is a part of the black comedy.
Reveals our source, “The film’s original casting of Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan has got changed with Ranbir Kapoor coming in place of Ajay and Farhan Akhtar coming in place of Saif Ali Khan. We had earlier reported of Ranbir being roped in for the project to play the role of a Bihari assassin and his target being played by a Parsi character which was yet to be selected. But now news has trickled in that Farhan Akhtar has been roped in to play this part. It can be recalled that Farhan in real is half Parsi as his mom, writer-director Honey Irani is a Parsi. Though Ranbir’s role seems more meatier, Farhan has given his nod for the project because not it is acclaimed award winning filmmaker Aparna Sen’s first Hindi project but also her good friend and Farhan’s stepmom Shabana Azmi perhaps did the convincing trick to him.”
