‘Amayakudu’ starts shooting

Octogan Movies has commenced the shooting of ‘Amayakudu’ . Starring Krishnudu and Ananya in the lead, ‘Amayakudu’ is directed by Bharati Ganesh and produced by M Balamurugan, Anil S Nayar and Sudarshan Sharma.
Popular actor Srihari gave the clap, while Anil S Nayar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot that was filmed on the lead pair at Annapurna Studios recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishnudu says, “After the success of ‘Vinayakudu’, I was flooded with offers, I had heard over 50 scripts! Finally, I was impressed with this story as I felt that the subject would suit my personality and image. Also, as the story was on a good family-oriented theme, I had to say yes!â€
Director Bharati Ganesh says, “After watching ‘Vinayakudu’, the storyline got struck on my mind. I tinkered around with the idea and added a dash of sentiment and comedy to it, to prepare my story. The plot revolves around an underdog; from whom not much is expected. How he overcomes the rigid social views to achieve his goal is what I want to tell the audience.â€
The cast includes; Alekhya Rao, Prakash Raj, Raksha, Rao Ramesh, Gita Singh, Melkote, Amit, Jaspar, Meka Ramakrishna, Padma Jayanti and others. Camera is by Uma Shankar, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, music is by Manikant Quadri, dialogues are by Ghatikachalam and lyrics are by Vanamali.
