November 6, 2010 : The most anticipated Country Music Awards is back and the alumni of ‘American Idol’ are taking up the stage this time. Third time in a row, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the show. People are also looking forward to Kelly Clarkson getting on-stage with Jason Aldean for a duet.
At the 44th Country Music Association Award, Lady Antebellum picked up six nominations, which includes ‘Entertainer of the Year’, ‘Vocal Group of the Year’, ‘Single of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’, Music Video of the Year’. For all the last two categories they got nominated for the song “Need You Know”.
Lady Antebellum will face challenge from Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band for the ‘Entertainer of the Year’. In the ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ category, Taylor Swift has been nominated along with Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.
At the CMA Awards this year, there will be performances by Taylor Swift, Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Shelton and many more. Brad Praisley apart from hosting the show with Underwood also got nomination in the ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ with Blake Shelton, Dierjs Bentley, Keith Urban and Georgew Strait.
The 44th CMA Awards will be held on Nov’ 10 and will be shown live on ABC at 8 pm EST and 7 pm Central.
