January 29, 2011 : Kollywood star Dhanush has never disappointed any director with a good script but he surprised many when he signed director Chimbudevan’s next project. Chimbudevan is mainly known for his comedy and fantasy stories and he is keeping the same charm in his next film too.
Chimbudevan has given some entertaining films in Kollywood like Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam and Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi. As per a source close to the director, his next project is based on contemporary times and he is busy in the finalization of the dialogues and the script. Dhanush liked the narration of the script and agreed to do the film immediately.
Dhanush is enjoying his best time now with the success of his recently released movie Aadukalam. So, the actor is now managing his career by balancing with the films with Box office successes and that with critical acclaims. Following the commercial success of art house project Aadukalam, the actor shifted his attention to an entertainer like Venghai, by director Hari.
Now, he is trying hand in the fantasy genre with Chimbudevan, who knows the trick to attract the family audience as well as the kids in a single movie. The family entertainer will be produced under a big banner house.
However, an official announcement from the actor and the director is yet to come.
