Former employee exonerates actress Asin
Chennai, Aug 2 (IANS) A former domestic help of Tamil actress Asin has refuted charges that she was forced to work against her will for the star, police said. “My mother Narasamma hastily complained to the police when I could not heed her urgent summons to Chennai to see her. Though I have left the employment of Asin, the measure is only temporary. I will rejoin duties after solving a few family issues that require my attention,” Beulah was quoted as saying.
“We have accepted Beulah’s explanation following her return from Mumbai and allowed her mother to withdraw her four-month-old complaint,” police sources added.
