K Manju to launch two new films

Published on

Producer K. Manju has just finished filming two major films Shankar I.P.S and Kichcha Huchcha, which will be releasing in May and June respectively. But the director has no time to rest. He will be launching two new films in the coming few months.

Shankar I.P.S., which stars Vijay and Raagini and is directed by M.S. Ramesh, will be releasing on May 7 or May 14 while Kichcha Huchcha, which has completed its shoot except for a day’s patch work from Sudeep, will be readied for release in June.

K. Manju will now be launching two films shortly. The first film will be a bilingual titled Shikari, which will be directed by award winning director Abhay Simha where Mammotty will be playing the lead. The heroine for the movie is yet to be finalized.

The second film is still entitled but it is based on the Tamil film Charlie Chaplin, which is directed by Shakthi Chidambaram. The remakes of the film starring Sivaji Prabhu and Prabhudeva in the lead in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam have been super hits. The movie’s Hindi version No Entry was made by film producer Boney Kapoor. Manju has decided to depend on the narrative of the Hindi film for which he has already selected some of the leading stars. Ramesh Arvind, Sudeep and Diganth will be playing the lead roles while the heroine is yet to be chosen. Manju is now looking for a suitable director for the film.
