Looks like ‘Paruthiveeran‘ fame Karthi will complete shooting for ‘Paiyya‘ much prior to his other release ‘Aayirathil Oruvan‘. The film started rolling before couple of years and the post production works are yet to be completed. With producers of the film planning to release the film, likely for Christmas. And now, buzzes are that Karthi has signed deal with actress Anushka for his upcoming project.
According to the sources, nothing has been confirmed about the film except Anushka and official announcements will be made soon. At the moment, Karthi is busy shooting for ‘Naan Mahan Alla‘ directed by ‘Vennila Kabadi Kulu‘ fame Susindhran. Kajal Agarwal of ‘Magadheera’ fame has starred opposite him in female lead role.
It’s worth mentioning that Anushka has paired up with Karthi’s elder brother Surya in ‘Singam‘. The film is produced by Surya’s home Studio Green Productions while Hari handles story, screenplay and direction. Earlier, Thamannah had teamed with Surya in ‘Ayan’ and has starred opposite Karthi in ‘Paiyya’ as well.
