Much invigorated with his spirits, Manoj says, “Acting wasn’t my preference and I had to do it for the sake of fulfilling my father’s wish. Working with versatile filmmakers like Mani Ratnam and Shankar has enlightened me a lot over making films with new dimensions. As of now, I and my father have been working on script works for this remake, which will be shot in Hollywood style and we are holding talks with best technicians in the project. Soon after completing the script, we’ll go for casting the actors and Yuvan Shankar Raja has already started tuning melodies for the film.”

Sigappu Rojakkal was one of the best films ever made by Bharathiraja which featured Kamal Haasan as a psychopath who sexually harasses women and slays them.
