The shooting of superstar Mohanlal’s Christmas release Red Chillies, directed by Shaji Kailas and produced by Ranjith under the banner of Rajaputhra Movies is progressing at the locations of Kochi and Thengasi at Singapore.
The film is scripted by A.K. Sajan. Interestingly, Malayalam playback singer Ranjini Jose is making her first appearance on the silver screen with this film. She plays the main character Isabella, one of the nine Radio Jockeys. She has also rendered songs for her character. Also in the cast are Vijaya Raghavan, Thilakan, Jagadeesh, Manian Pillai Raju and Sreekumar. Music is by Vinu Abraham and camera by Shaji. Red Chillies is a murder mystery revolving around a gang of nine Radio Jockeys working with FM 919.1.
