‘Mr Gireesam’ to hit screen by Nov end
Post-production works are nearing completion for ‘Mr Gireesam’ directed by Viswaprasad, presented by Gelivi Muralimohan and produced by Ramesh Chandra Benarjeebabu on the banner of SRC Creations with Krishna Bhagawan and Ramyakrishna in the lead roles.
Director says, ‘We prepared a story with an inspiration drawn from ‘Kanyasulkam’ of Gurajada and equated the characters in that drama to some people of the present day society. When it comes to the male-female ratio, the female birth rate is dropping considerably. If the same situation continues, a situation would arise where boys had to pay dowry to girls for marriage. We gave a message through our film on how to avoid this situation in an entertaining manner.
Definitely the film would give good relief to the audiences as the story is very near to the nativity.’ Producer says, ‘We are planning to release the film by the end of November.’ Jayaprakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Jeeva, Raghunatha Reddy, Melkote, Sairabanu, Krushi, Apoorva and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Kornipati Venubhargav, music is by SA Quddus, cinematography is by Rajesh Kata, while story, screenplay and direction are by Viswaprasad.
