April 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Prajwal Devaraj is planning to go to New York Film Institute for a crash course in the technicalities of film making.

According to him, it is important to have knowledge about films and he wants to gain the knowledge before the launch of his father, Devaraj’s home production and direction venture. Their home banner will be launching sometime this year.

Prajwal, who has done films like Sixer, Meravanige, Geleya, Jeeva, Ghulama, Gange Bare Thunge Baare,Kencha and now Nannavanu, is aiming to lose weight by working out a lot and following the diet chart that dietician Ashwini has given him.

Prajwal is upset about his film, Superman being in a bad state and his films Jeeva and Kencha not being promoted properly.

The actor, who will be giving his final year BBM exams in April, is also taking a look at the script his father has prepared.
