August 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Kalanidhi Maran, producer of the upcoming big budget Tamil movie Endhiran has realized the worth of the star power of his movie and hence, decided not to sell the dubbed Telugu version for less than Rs 30 crores.

The movie stars two big stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and has music by Oscar winning composer AR Rahman. The music album of the movie is already a big hit and has made it to the top of chartbusters in less than a week of its release on July 31.

The movie is likely to go on the floor on September 3, 2010 along with its Telugu version titled Yanthram.

As per the sources, the Rajinikanth starrer Shivaji producer and distributor Bellamkonda Suresh has quoted around Rs 20 crores to get the Telugu dubbing rights of Endhiran. Two other leading Telugu film producers have reportedly quoted Rs 23 cores and Rs 26 crores respectively. The final decision is likely to come out in next few days.

Now, it’s time to see who the fortune’s child is to get the rights of the Telugu version of the expected blockbuster movie!
