Legendary singer Asha Bhosle dedicated Raksha Bandhan to the Indian armed forces by tying rakhis to Border Security Force (BSF) personnel here.

Bhosle, who is known for numbers like “Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko” and “Dil Cheez Kya Hai”, took to Twitter on Thursday, where she shared a photograph of herself along with the BSF officials.

“This Raksha Bandhan was dedicated to my brothers in Indian armed forces. Tied Rakhi to BSF in Assam,” Bhosle captioned the image.

The 82-year-old shared another photograph where she was seen donning the traditional Assamese conical hat Jaapi.

“Receiving warm Assamese welcome from the Border Security Force,” she captioned the image.
