Bollywood veterans remembers Feroz Khan

Published on

Veteran actor-filmmaker Feroz Khan passed away leaving behind a lot of memories for his fans and his old co-stars as well. Here is what some of his old co-stars and friends have stated in his memory.

Asha Parekh – We worked together in Anjaan Rahen which was directed by Mohan in 1974. I had a great experience working with him. He was not only a good human being but a great actor too. He was very co-operative. His younger brother Akbar Khan too worked with us in this film. Another special quality about him was that he was very stylish and loved to do things in style. Be it in personal life or his films. I feel sad that he is no more. He was too young to die. I hope god gives his family the strength to bear his loss. He has been sick for sometime now but it has come as a great shock. I will miss him always.

Prem Chopra: We worked together in Apradh. We were all young so there are fond memories of the film. Feroz used to pamper all his actors. Since we are of a similar age I have seen him grow in his career. He lived life on his own terms and never bothered what the world said about him. But at the same time he never hurt anyone. He was very helpful. Whether it was his family or someone in need Feroz came forward to help others. He was a stylish young man and made stylish films too. All his films like Apradh, Dharmatma, Qurbani have been milestones in his career.

Farida Jalal: I worked with him in action thriller Kala Sona. He was a great human being. He was like my brother. We will miss him a lot. I always found him generous not only with his near and dear ones but also to people who needed help. I will remember him as long as I live.”

Rakesh Roshan: It is a great loss to the film industry. He was an excellent and stylish producer, director and actor. He has made some wonderful films like Dayavaan, Qurbani, Dharmatma. He has given most of his life to the film industry. As a person he was a good human being, polite and very helpful to the people in the industry. He will be remembered for many many years to come. Hrithik and Sussane have left for Bangalore to be a part of his last rites ceremony.

Gulshan Grover: We worked together in Ek Khildi Ek Haseena. I can recollect he was a very gentle and honest person. He was truly a co-star with substance and a very practical person.
