August 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Fashion designer Narendra Kumar Ahmed is ready to introduce his couture line in Mumbai in this October. Ahmed is usually well-known for his prêt line.
While attending a fashion show in Mumbai, Narendra said, “In this coming October, I am going to launch my own couture line. This is going to be a bit different from what is usually seen in India”.
The couture line from this designer will consist of gowns, high-end dresses, and drapes. Narendra has also assured his participation in the forthcoming Van Heusen India Men’s Fashion Week. He will present an interesting and unique show at this event, which will take place from August 27 to 29.
Narendra added, “I will bring together two cultures at the show but it will have a wearable sense. The history of another country will be blended with something from modern India”.
This sounds an innovative creation and the response it gets will decide its acceptance among fashionistas!
