While auditioning for Raju Chacha, director Anil Devgan seemed to fix on a fresh looking face with dreamy blue eyes to play the role of nephew to Ajay Devgan, but he found that he was little older than the character he was looking for. Finally, Anil took some other children for the film which was produced by Ajay Devgan. Exactly after 9 years, he again came face to face with that boy and offered him the lead role in Haal-e-Dil. This newcomer is Nakuul Mehta.
Destiny has definitely got something to do with it. Anil who had like Nakuul as an youngster again liked him for the role in Haal-e-Dil. This film is being produced by Kumar Mangat to launch his daughter Amita. Now, strange it might appear, when Nakuul narrated this story to Anil, he was dumbstruck but was happy that fate had decided that he will be launching him in his film. This is called a happy ending!
