The surprisingly high success of the Bhatts’ Jannat that too at the middle of the much talked about IPL matches has made some one pricey. It is no other than Emraan Hashmi, the leading man of Jannat, the blue yeyed boy of the Bhatts. Prior to this film, Emraan used to ask for a price of about1.5 crore but now he has matched his scores to tops heroes and is asking for a huge sum of 5 crores. The saying that make hay while the sun shines is followed to the letter t by the official kisser of Bollywood.
Speaking about his mentors, the Bhatts, he claims that the parice rise acts for them as ell but as they have always been so very fair to him, he can’t but expect a fair price. Getting more picky is now what the guy is about. Going for the unconventional roles has always worked wonders for him, he also states that his role in Raaz 2 will be very different form the one Dino played in Raaz, 5 years back. Feeling no guilt to work with new faces and kissing them all, he saysif the director thinks a kiss is needed, then indeed it is needed. His wife is exhilarated by the success and the spouse is more than happy to prove himself a star. Though the team was warned against the release of the film during the IPL, it seems to have shut everyone’s mouth with the opening success.
Standing by his decisions, Emraan argues that he is not shy to ask for this price because, Jannat is the only solo hit that has come at a time when Bollywood is singing praises for Akshay Kumar and the Khans. The man has gone a brand new BMW that too it was delivered to him on the day of the film’s release. Now, that is superb confidence. Emraan backed out of a project with Warner Brothers in association with Tandav Films saying that the producers were waiting to see how Jannat fairs and now the ball is in his court and he can increase his price. Tit for Tat huh!
