Most of them tried to hide the fact by calling their jobless status a sabbatical, but it’s an open secret. In fact, actors who want to come back cannot afford to be choosy. Take Solah Singar girl Akangsha Rawat, she has bagged a character of her choice. She always wanted to do a lead role, and she did get one.
But TellyCafe found a twist in the story. The project got delayed due to the casting issues between channel and producers. “Channel wanted a fresh face for the lead role, but my producers were determined to cast me. In all this conflict, the project got delayed and is yet not on the floor,†divulges Akangsha.
As the show was to air on a big channel and she was to play a lead role, she waited patiently, but to no avail. “I have myself backed out from the show, as I can’t wait anymore. So when I got the offer to play a lead for another upcoming serial, I took it,†she clears.
Though it is believed, all human wisdom is summed up in two words, which are- wait and hope, but for how long Seriously Akangsha dearie you did the right thing, after all roles do keep coming to good actors.
