Mumbai chi Porgi ‘Mona’Versatile singer Mona Roy’s album “Mumbai Chi porgi mona “was unveiled By “Jagjit Singh”Navin batra and jagjit singh go a long way back where they have done some of the best work together and he was there for dear friend Navin Batra to unveil Mona Roy’s album Shailendra Mishra has featured in the both the videos along with Mona in Videos “Mumbai chi Porgi” & “Ishqa Ishqa”it was a big day for Mona Roy as her album was released by Jagjit Singh and Navin Batra announced the film B-Town.

Video director Navin batra also wore a shade of purple ,shailendtra mishra looked handsome in a gorgeous grey suit .Jagjit singh sat through the evening and unveiled the album and called Mona roy an accomplished singer with verstality in voice . Mona roy took an initiative and made everyone wear anna hazare topis and sang national anthem and hoisted the flag to join in supporting anna’s cause it was great that all joined in and the musical affair turned into a patriotic area by choice and mona said she is supporting the cause and always wanted to and this was the best platform. angela tetarbe was in ashimmery outfit ,rahul bhatt looked suave ,

Mumbaichi Porgi Mona, as the title indicates, the songs are based on girl from Mumbai capturing different emotions and moods of love. Mumbai Chi Porgi Mona features 7 Love songs on different moods of Love.

“Love is such an emotion which cannot be explained but has to be felt; and hence I have sung the songs with immense depth. The video ensures that, one will surely fall in love time and again, as strong sentiments and trust is what, love is all about,” says the versatile singer, whose first album was ‘Just U & Me’..
The talented Mona has sung 6 solo songs and 1 duet with Javed Ali. Two of the songs ‘Mumbai Chi Porgi Mona’ and ‘Tu Chaliya’ have been composed by another fresh composer Kumar; while Vikram Nagi composer of Rakht Charita and Rannhave worked on songs like ‘Ishqa Ishqa’ and ‘Aadha Aadha’. The fifth song ‘ Tere Mere Pyar Ka’ has been composed by Ahsan Ahmed who has also composed songs of My Friend Ganesha. And finally, Late Bobby has composed ‘Tum Pass Ho’ and ‘Teri Yaadein’. The lyrics have been penned down by Anjan Sagri, Sani Aslam and Rupesh, while two videos has been directed by the Noted director Navin Batra and choreographed by Sumit of Sumit Sahil Jodi. The video has been shot on Mona and Shailendra, who plays the male lead in the video.
