A huge portion of the film has been shot underwater.

Talking about her role in “Warning“, Manjari said:

I play Sabina Sanyal, who was a wild child in school, but now she is a doctor and she is very sorted in life. She knows what she wants. But the most important thing about her is that she is hydrophobic. In childhood, her best friend died due to drowning and that’s an important part of my character.

Warning” is based on a true story and while shooting all the actors had to stay in water almost all the time.

What prompted you to do this film?

The moment I read the script I was like ‘Wow‘. This is a lifetime opportunity for an actor because such kind of films have not been made in India so far. The entire film has been shot in the ocean. To shoot in an ocean was very difficult and a very challenging thing for any actor.

… said Manjari Phadnis, who was seen in recently released “Grand Masti“.

Produced by Anubhav Sinha, “Warning” also stars Santosh Barmola, Suzana Rodrigues, Varun Sharma, Jitin Gulati, Sumit Suri and Madhurima Tuli. It will release Sep 27.
