Meerabai Not Out -DQ Entertainment’s first live action co-production Bollywood feature film Poised for a worldwide release. Mumbai, December 4, 2008: DQ Entertainment, the doyen in Animation and Gaming is all geared to debut itself as a co-producer in its venture release, Meerabai Not Out produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and distributed globally by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Meerabai Not Out is directed by award winning Marathi film director, Chandrakant Kulkarni and a screenplay by Soumik Sen. This romantic comedy spells out brilliantly the obsession of Indian masses for cricket and their romanticizing with cricketing stars. Mandira Bedi stars in the movie as a brilliant math teacher obsessed with cricket and cricketing stars. Anil Kumble plays himself in his first Bollywood film, while Television star Eijaz Khan makes his debut to main stream cinema besides great supports like Anupam Kher and Mahesh Manjrekar in leading roles. Meerabai Not Out features a musical score by Sandesh Shandilya.
The film is slated for a worldwide release by Sony Pictures Entertainment on the 5th of December.
