After the musical blockbuster of 2008, Jannat, Emraan Hashmi is all set to return this winter with his most awaited and expensive horror flick till date, Raaz-The Mystery Continues (RTMC) which is produced by Vishesh Films and released by SONY BMG.
Emraan Hashmi’s former flicks have all been of high concept and style and have presented its actors with challenging roles. No wonder, for this Mohit Suri directed film, he is very optimistic regarding it’s success and knows that the audience will also appreciate this film.
Considered to be a lucky charm that attracts great music in all his films, he also believes that he has yet another chartbuster album up his sleeves in the form of RTMC.
He says, “Music lovers will rave about the music of RTMC. It is truly an album that goes beyond all other existing ones from my preceding films.”
While it is never a surprise to see brilliant music from the Bhatt camp, the buzz is that RTMC features songs that are truly outstanding in terms of compositions, musical arrangement and sheer groove. The soundtrack features 4 talented composers, out of which the majority is very new. Yet, collectively, they get together to create a soundtrack which promises to make waves this winter. In addition, with Emraan Hashmi’s unbelievable mass appeal to boast of, the songs are anyways expected to go an extra distance.
SONY BMG has worked with Vishesh Films earlier this year in ‘Jannat’ and this time around with RTMC, apart from the rocking music, the company has also partnered in production of RTMC. This signifies the union of two very powerful stables – Vishesh Films and SONY BMG.
Says an industry insider, “The film itself is exceptionally well made, courtesy some good work yet again by Vishesh Films that has always made a human connection with its viewers.”
Mukesh Bhatt adds, “The film is being termed as a supernatural thriller and is not at all a sequel to RTMC. Instead it deals with the depiction of the ‘evil within’ with relation to modern times. Its technical aspects with stylizing and special effects have made this film a much awaited one.”
RTMC hits the screens all over on 23rd January 2009.
